A consortium of Case Western Reserve University, Soothsayer Analytics & INSOFE offer this unique program designed to help you establish a Data Science Center of Excellence.

Learn how A.I. & Deep Learning can dramatically enhance your company’s services, products, and processes to gain a competitive edge.

This seminar will teach you a suite of frameworks, tools, and strategies to ask the right questions, establish proper processes, and build high-functioning teams to successfully leverage A.I. & Deep Learning within your organization.

What is Data Science, and Why is it Important?

Any Data Science effort involves 3 broad steps:
  1. Systematically collecting relevant data from a variety of internal and external sources. This includes structured data in databases and unstructured data in the form of documents, audio, logs, emails, and social media.
  2. Analyzing the data to unearth actionable patterns and results that will deliver business-relevant forecasts, insights, and recommendations.
  3. Visualizing and articulating the results in such a way that business users can effectively consume the insights in real-time or as needed.

Historically, most decisions made by an organization were the result of domain knowledge and intuitive understanding by senior executives. Modern businesses are much more complex and exhibit levels of uncertainly previously unseen. As such, adopting a data-driven process is critical to the success of a modern business, as it allows stakeholders to make scientifically-supported decisions rather than relying solely on domain expertise or intuition.

Having the ability to process and analyze massive amounts of data to support or contradict intuition, or to unearth new insights, is invaluable. Leveraging sophisticated algorithms and advanced Data Science is becoming a key differentiator for many organizations. For example, Data Science can be used to identify characteristics of customers that generate maximum revenue; when assets will fail; and which investments result in the most ROI. These are business-critical problems, and learning from data is more reliable and accurate than traditional heuristic-based or statistical approaches.

The goal of this seminar is to demystify the subject and provide strategic insight, so no technical background is required. This one-day program is designed exclusively for executives and business leaders and will provide a foundation for Data Science success.

Attending this seminar will provide you the ability to methodically answer questions such as:

  • How will my organization benefit from A.I. & Deep Learning?
  • What new products, solutions, services, and processes can we create to revolutionize our business and performance?
  • How do I democratize these new technologies?
  • How do I build an internal center of excellence and/or properly vet and interact with external partners?
  • How do I minimize organizational friction and maximize utility while instituting these disruptive innovations?

You will be exposed to several use cases where organizations successfully implemented A.I. & Deep Learning solutions by combining technical expertise, design thinking, sound strategy, and agile methodologies. You will then harness what you learn to create an initial Data Science blueprint/roadmap for your organization.

  • “Spent a fascinating day at an AI training class with Soothsayer Analytics.
Professor Murthy Kolluru took us into a deep dive on how algorithms work and the immense power of these calculations. AI will change the world and how we interact with it. If you are not exploring AI your should start now.

At Adient, we have been piloting robotic process automation, assisted decision making, and machine learning. Getting a deeper look into how the new technologies actually work and how they are able to achieve the results that they do is more tangible now and will allow me to be more confident in leading projects to roll out these capabilities.”

    Vice President @ Adient

  • “I’ve attended trainings that they’ve put on in the past and it’s really top notch stuff. You walk away with both conceptual and mathematical understanding of data science techniques, as well as code examples for how to apply them in your work. Highly recommended.”

    Senior Analytics Leader @ Express

  • “Provides practical and very systematic guidance with good industry application.”

Senior Analytics Manager @ Alliance Data

  • “Dr. Murthy, who runs this program, is amazing. Soothsayer has been a great partner.”

Sr. Director of Product Information Excellence @ Nike

  • “We initially engaged with Soothsayer Analytics on a week-long training session focused on a wide array of Data Science topics. The training was amazing and extremely well received across the board. This speaks to Soothsayer’s ability to tackle complex topics and break them down in a way that people at every level can understand and appreciate. Many participants reported that it was the best training that they had ever attended. Multiple use cases, tactical improvements, and the ability to leverage state-of-the-art Analytic techniques have come out of the training. From day one, Soothsayer’s intellectual ability was obvious, but we have been most impressed with their uncanny ability to provide context to problems. Our client engagement has been a very positive experience in which Soothsayer has met and/or exceeded our expectations. We have subsequently started working with them on a few Data Science projects, and this has also been a positive experience. I would recommend them to any company looking for a strong intellectual Data Science partner.”

  • “I found the Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence leadership seminar very informative. First, the presentation was well-structured with clearly stated objectives. Second, and more importantly, the seminar provided a good overview of deep learning concepts and how to implement them at your company. The seminar consisted of three parts — deep learning, deep thinking, and deep strategies. The deep learning portion provided a good introduction and overview of the deep learning concepts. The deep-thinking section presented ideas for how an organization can transform itself into a deep learning organization. Finally, the deep strategies portion discussed building a roadmap to implement deep learning. While the seminar was only one day, it was very valuable. It provided the foundational concepts needed for implementing deep learning at an organization.”

    Senior Technical Manager @ OCLC

  • “Soothsayer & INSOFE’s seminar is an excellent event to learn about capabilities of Deep Learning and how it can be applied across various industries. Coming to the event we did not know what to expect, and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of experience and knowledge Dr. Kolluru has in the field of Deep Learning. The biggest take away for us was the importance of and how to create better features. We also learned how to build more efficient systems by using cross-utilization. There are many seminars and companies to choose from, but if you are looking to shed some light on to how Deep Learning can be applied within your organization, I would highly recommend attending this seminar.”
